a wish, a lesson & a dream

I'm praying for the safety of the ppl in japan and those of my friends who are going to or are in japan, as typhoon songda hits the region.

God bless that it has weakened and is not passing through fukushima where the recovery from the march 11 earthquake is still ongoing.

The japanese people have set an example for the world to follow, the culture of care for their fellow country-men during and after the nucler crisis are extremely remarkable.

ppl say that this only happens during crisis, i beg to differ, this is a form of culture cultivated in the people from young that forms this selfless culture of care for each other.

if you study the history of japan especially during the period of World War II, the men, women and even children all contribute to the war effort. this shows the type of culture that i want to see in youths of today

youths of today are ofthen described as apathatic, disconnected and selfish. i want to change that, these are times of trails and tribulations, it is a time for men and women of the new generatioon to rise up and address the issues of today. to put a mark on history and to leave a legacy.
